Everything, he is so hot. I love it when a character has such determination that Loki seems to have in the movie. There is also something about Tom portrayal that makes you cheer for Loki and want to seem succeed. I also can't help but feel sorry for him because he is only trying to get the people of Asgard to see him as Thor's equal.

Very true, Loki always seemed at least about twenty steps ahead of everyone else in the movie.

Another reason that I like about Loki is because for some reason I have always liked the tormented character, they have such an interseting back story. They are also very strong and determined people brecause they want to work hard to prove that they better than they believe what they see themselves as.

that is really unique about Loki - you get is back story so you know why he is behaving like he is and what makes him want to kill Thor. In many ways he isn't a bad guy at all. A lot of bad guys in films - like the Joker in the Dark Knight - are absolute and all you know is that they are bad and there is no obvious reason for it.

I think he's more of an anti-hero myself and not a villain he wants the same thing Thor does, but he just going the wrong way about it.

I also like to think about the idea of Loki being an anti hero over him being a villian. There is a huge difference between a villian like the Joker in The Dark Knight, Voldemort from Harry Potter, or the Emperor from Star Wars, they are pure evil and their motives are for purely selfish reasons. But someone like Loki while making bad choices is able to see that he has done bad things and torments himself over them. To me an anti hero is one of the most interesting characters.

Magneto is cool too, he does some dark things but I can't really say that he is evil. I want to see X-Men First Class because it looks good.

its a really good film with a good backstory on magneto and Xavier, but you are right about loki though he does realise when he makes a mistake i mean all he is really trying to do is make Odin proud of him

I know all that Loki is really doing is trying to make himself a son that Odin coulc be proud of. I think that Tom Hiddleston perfectly portrayed the complexity of the character of Loki.

definitely, after all loki still wants to make his father proud of him and that was he regards odin as his father even after he knew he was laufey's son

Loki is one of the only villains that I don't call a villain. I always refer to him as an antagonist because he doesn't seem like a villain. He is just the opposite force to Thor. He isn't completely evil, he is just doing everything in the 'wrong' manner. He is just doing that he does best- being sly and tricking people. But he does it with the best intentions, his execution is what marks him as the antagonist. And this complexity is what makes Thor from a good movie into a must see movie. And you can tell that a lot of effort was put into making Loki an amazing character and I really appreciate that, since the other villains of the Marvel movies were forgettable or just meh- I don't even remember their names. So yeah, that's why I love Loki

hey lokinsanity yeah you are completely right as me and Morgan were discussing before we think he's more if an anti-hero if you get me, he doing things for the right reasons but just going about it the wrong way...an example of this would be when he thought destroying jotunheim would solve Asgard problems as he thought it make odin proud of him.
